Goudoulin Armagnacs owe their authenticity to a woman of character. Becoming a widow in 1927, Jeanne Goudoulin managed the family estate alone for more than 40 years. It is an exceptional winery with rare vintages, remarkable quality and history that she will pass on to her grandson Christian, who will be able to develop the activity and the notoriety of the brand.
In 2009, Michel Miclo, owner of the G. Miclo family distillery, acquired this gem with unique know-how. Had he then foreseen that one day the complementarity of these two artisanal houses would give birth to this extraordinary whisky?
Manufacturing secrets…
Alsatian distillers for 3 generations, the Miclo family has been able to preserve, transmit and enrich its know-how. She developed this whiskey with the finest ingredients and entrusted its aging to our cellar master in Gascony.
Because if the still and the “art of distillation” forge the character and typicality of the future whiskey, its final aromatic palette finds its origin in contact with wood. For more than 80 years, the Veuve Goudoulin house has been offering Armagnacs of great finesse. During all these years, large stocks of rare and exceptional old vintages have remained in our barrels. It is in these same barrels that this whiskey aged under the watchful eye of our cellar master and oenologist Aurélien, who created an exceptional Gers product here.
