This peated small batch comes from a selection of 5 barrels of Gevrey-Chambertin, red Burgundy, 1st fill. Distilled in July 2017, this whiskey comes from 35ppm malt. It presents a smoky, virile and wild nose, notes of leather, brown tobacco and toasted bread. Its mouth is powerful, marked by fatty peat, chiselled aromas of smoke, black pepper, followed by toasted wood, which ends with a long hint of minerality.
